McShane Construction was design/builder for the 177,000 square foot corporate headquarters for Aetna Plywood, Inc. located within the Maywood Business Center in Maywood, Illinois. The facility includes 15,600 square feet of office space, 8,000 square feet for manufacturing and 153,000 square feet for warehousing and distribution of the firm’s hardwood and laminate products. McShane’s completion of the 28’ clear height building included five internal docks, seven external docks and five drive-in doors together with six rail doors that provide immediate access to the adjacent Union Pacific rail line.
